Bus 100 from Tromsø
Take the local bus from Tromsø Havn Prostneset at 10:30. It is the eco-friendly way here, and we can arrange private transport if you prefer.

We pick you up at the bus station, an hour’s scenic drive inland from Tromsø.

Snowshoe walk
Easy to learn and fine for anyone in reasonable shape. Climb a mountain or stroll the valley, whichever you like. Swap or combine it with ice fishing, skiing or hiking. A campfire and barbecue lunch on the way if you want.

Sauna, then dinner
Warm up in a traditional wood-burning Finnish sauna with a view of the mountains. Then a three-course dinner: fish or meat with vegetables, and local berries or homemade cake.

Northern lights from camp
We check your camera settings after dinner. If the sky is clear you can see the lights from camp, and we guide you and take pictures if you want.

Sleep in the transparent cabin
The cabin is a heated shelter with see-through roof and walls. On a clear night you see millions of stars, and maybe the aurora.

Breakfast and the bus home
After breakfast we drive you to the bus station. The bus reaches Tromsø Prostneset at 09:25.

If it is cloudy at camp
Driving out to chase clear sky is not included. If there is a chance of clear sky elsewhere, you can hire Roy for 1500 NOK an hour.
Bus tickets
Not included. Buy from the driver by cash, Visa or Mastercard, or in the Troms Mobillett app. Check the screens at the terminal for current departures.
